I thought I was dreaming as I stood up and took the first look out of the window - SNOW! Today is the first day that it has snowed in Vienna. I'm not quite sure about whether I should be happy or pissed about that. I'll make my opinion during this day, just see what's happening when I get out in this sibirian coldness.

Wow, ich war das erste Mal alleine im Kino - und es war toll! Der Nachteil - ich brauch jemanden mit dem ich den Film danach besprechen kann. Die Emotionen haben mich ganz schön überwältigt, ich habe den ganzen Nachhauseweg gebraucht um wieder halbwegs herunter zu kommen.
Der Film den ich gesehen habe war Pan's Labyrinth – den wollte ich schon lange sehen und ein lieber Mensch hat mich wieder darauf gebracht, so dass ich dann letztendlich irgendwie auch den Mut aufbrachte mich allein ins Kino zu setzen. Ein Freund sagte mal: "Warum nicht. Wenn man allein ist und auch niemanden hat der sich für das interessiert was man machen will, muss man auch alleine etwas unternehmen (können), sonst verpasst man die Dinge die man gerne macht."
Der Film war übrigens echt grandios. Ich war gebannt und erschreckt zugleich. Die kalte Brutalität an manchen Stellen setzte mir (so allein im Kino) doch etwas zu. Absolut fantastisch waren die Märchensequenzen – verzaubernd und unheimlich.
Wow, I was alone in the cinema for the first time - and it was great! The downside - I need someone with whom I can talk about the film afterwards. The emotions have quite overwhelmed me, I needed the whole way home to partly come down again.
The film I saw was Pan's labyrinth - which I had intented to see for a long time and a beloved person had reminded me again, so I ultimately somehow mustered up the courage to place myself alone into the cinema. A friend once said: "Why not. If one is alone and also has no one who is interested in the things one wants to do, one has to (be able to) do things alone, otherwise one misses the things one enjoys doing."
The film was by the way simply sublime. I was mesmerised and terrified at once. The cold brutality at some points afflicted me (so alone in the cinema) after all. Absolutely fantastic were the fable sequences - enchanting and eerie.

Manchmal bringt er dein Gefühlsleben fast brutal durcheinander
und dann wieder ist er zahm und sanft,
wie das Gefühl, wenn die Hand eines dich anziehenden Menschen zart an deiner Haut streift.
Doch was er nach dem aufwachen hinterlässt ist nur für kurze Zeit diese Emotion,
dann verschwindet er leise wieder und lässt dich verwirrt allein zurück.

These two guys are so stupid that I have to laugh until my stomach hurts. Really sad that the series doesn't run anymore. I wonder if anyone of the youngsters today even know Beavis & Butthead... The film was a favourite of mine in my youth. Enjoy these random parts!
Oh yeah! To bad for you men. I think its like 90% of the man who have this problem - because: How can you tell if a man thinks of sex all the time? He breathes! /sarkasm

Wenn man die Gebäude der Universität Wien betritt merkt man nicht, dass 2005 eigentlich ein Gesetz verabschiedet wurde, welches das Rauchen in öffentlichen Gebäuden verbietet. Das Rauchverbot wird von den Studierenden einfach ignoriert und in jedem Gang und jeder Ecke wird geraucht. Zusätzliche Ironie - die Aschenbecher sind nirgends abmontiert worden - ein typisch österreichischer Schildbürgerstreich??
Für alle die auch so gern wie ich die Realität negieren! Leider schreckliches Playback.

Am Anfang war ich ja etwas skeptisch was diese Serie betrifft und habe es verweigert sie mir anzusehen (wie bei den meisten Serien die zur Zeit meine Favorites sind). Mittlerweile ist es so, dass ich unbedingt wissen muss wie es weiter geht.
Für alle, die schwarzen Humor lieben und denen die Moral beim Fernsehen nicht im Weg steht, kann ich diese Serie nur wärmstens empfehlen.
At the beginning I was a little bit sceptical about this series and I refused to watch it (like it was with most of the series which are my favourites now). In the meantime it changed, so that I necessary have to know how it continues.
For everyone, who loves black humour and whos moral doesn´t stand in his/her way while watching TV, I can warmly recommend this series.
